We collaborated with Prof. Jin Xie's group at ShanghaiTech University and published a research paper in Nano Lett.. We used atomic-layer deposition technique to produce nanoscale ZrO2 surface coating on the single crystal NMC particles, which not only improved the high-voltage cycle performance but also advanced our understanding on the surface coating and doping processes and their correlation with the post-annealing temperature. We have also published a paper at J. Phys. Chem. C in which we reported the investigation into the preparation process of high-voltage LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode materials. In situ heating XRD and correlative SEM-Raman techniques were employed in this interesting work. Congrats to the co-first authors (Weina Wang and Dechao Meng).
